Vegetable Manchurian



Ingredients:

For the vegetable balls

For the manchurian souse

2 Ginger 1 tablespoon Chopped
3 Onion 1 tablespoon Chopped
4 Green chili 1 tablespoon Chopped
5 Soya sauce 1 tablespoon

6 Sugar 1/4 tablespoon

7 Salt To taste

8 Ajinomoto Pinch

9 Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tablespoon

10 Tomato souce 1 tablespoon

11 Vegetable stock(water) 1 cup

12 Cornflour(Mixed with 1 cup of water) 1 tablespoon



Preparation:

HOW TO MAKE VEGETABLE BALLS:
  1. Combine the Cabbage , Carrots, Onions, Cornflour, All Purpose Flour, Green chili, Salt and blck papper in a bowl and mix well.

  1. Shape spoonfuls of the mixture into small balls.If you find it difficult to form balls, sprinkle a little water to bind the mixture.

  1. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.

HOW TO MAKE SAUCE:
  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan on a medium flame. Add the onion , garlic, ginger, green chili, and stir fry over a medium flame for a few seconds.

  1. Add the stock, soya sauce, ajinamoto, cornflour paste, sugar, red chili powder,tomato sauce and simmer for a few minutes.

  1. Just before serving, put the vegetable balls in the sauce and bring to a boil.


  1. Serve hot with Chapati or Paratha..
